Lone Worker Protection
The award winning Identicom, manufactured by Connexion2, is the leading dedicated
lone worker protection device in the UK and is also available internationally. The
Identicom range of products are still the only range of lone worker devices to be
awarded ‘Secured by Design' status from ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers
for England and Wales) due to their unique form-
The lone worker protection product is a mobile communications device deliberately designed as an identity card holder allowing easy wear and discreet operation by the user should they feel their safety could potentially be compromised or if they are suffering verbal abuse or attack.
Each device within the Identicom range has the following standard functionality:
Raise the alarm through the 'Red Alert' function
The key function is the ability to
discreetly raise an alarm (‘Red Alert' function) through pressing a button on the
rear of the unit, prompting the Identicom to make a telephone call to an Alarm Receiving
Centre (ARC). The call is then monitored by a dedicated handler at the ARC, the audio
is recorded for future use should it be required as admissible evidence for court
proceedings, and then escalated in line with the required response for that lone
worker. This might range from a telephone call to a user or a lone worker manager
to discuss the current alert; right up to a call to the Police should it be required.

We supply a range of First Aid Equipment everything from a Plaster to a PAD (Public Access Defibrillator). We are approved suppliers of the Heartsine and CardiAid AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), and are happy to give a free no obligation demonstration to individuals, groups or firms anywhere in the Nottingham and Derby Area.
